Neighborhood Scavenger Hunt
We are doing our best to find a good balance of activities and self entertainment around here. We weren’t very successful at having a daily schedule. Instead, we have a few things up our sleeve each day so that when the kids need to transition from one thing, or are struggling to get along, we can easily pivot (if you read that PIVOOOOT and saw Ross from FRIENDS holding a couch in a stairwell, you are my people).
DIY Diffuser Ornaments
I signed up to do the craft at Kevin’s class Christmas party. And let’s be honest, I got to the sign up too late to sign up for plates and napkins…but my kid LOVES crafts so I wanted it to be something the kids would be excited about. I made a test batch of these before the party and my own kids loved them and decorated a ton of them, so I figured it would be a win with the kindergarteners too! And anything we can add oils to make me happy, so these were a win-win!
